compost cookies

I crave cookies pretty much all the time, and have been playing around in the kitchen to try my hands at some amazing ones. This weekend, a friend and I attempted the compost cookie from milk bar. If you've never gotten your hands on one at the Milk Bar Bakery, let me try and explain - or if you can read from the recipe, its an ingredient chock full of all of the junkiest ingredients you can find! It was so much fun mashing up everything and anything.


One thing I changed from the recipe was I didn't add glucose, because I have heck of an idea what it is and couldn't find it at bulk barn. And the other is, we just couldn't wait to eat the cookies so we skipped on their cautions sign to "refrigerate for at least an hour". The cookies are a lot harder and crunchier then the original, and I would definitely try to refrigerate next time - but I don't regret baking it right out of the mixing bowl!
